Homeless count in New Bedford gets a hand up

How many homeless people are in your city?  No idea?

Well in New Bedford a group of advocates took to the streets for a census of the homeless population and we want to help!  However, we know that we can’t do it alone!  This week Ian, Amy, Colleen and Dave (our ultra special guests) purchase a ton of warm clothes, gloves, head warmers and socks and drop it off at the Veterans Transition House!  It was a great time!

Thanks guys – you two are awesome!

It was a cold night but not as cold as the next morning. When we woke up and realized it was -2 degrees we felt even better knowing we had contributed in a small way to keeping some folks warm. It was a great night and felt really good to help! Thanks again for taking us along! I just “HOPE” it will inspire others to go along some night too! It literally took just 1 hour and then Dave and I went and shared a meal at No Problemo!! It was a great night…
